William joined Combined Insurance in 2017. He is responsible for managing and recruiting for Combined Insurance’s best-in-class Military Program. He is also responsible for attracting, hiring, retaining and supporting veterans, military spouses and family member talent into the organization.
William is passionate about helping veterans and military spouses transition into the civilian workforce and find meaningful and rewarding careers at Combined Insurance. He was recognized as a 2021 Veteran Champion of the Year (VCOY) in Corporate America by G.I. Jobs® for championing the recruitment, hiring, retention and career advancement of US military veterans in corporate America.
Prior to joining Combined Insurance, William worked for a US senator. He served in multiple roles including Veterans Caseworker, Special Assistant, and Director of Veterans Outreach.
David has been with Humana for over eight years. After serving a lengthy and successful Army career with multiple overseas deployments, he retired from active Army service and transitioned directly into Humana. He has served in four roles at Humana: Process Consultant, Operational Readiness Manager for a Lean Start-Up, Senior Talent Management Professional and in his current role as a Talent Management Lead. David is Humana’s Diversity Recruiting Strategy Leader and responsible for Humana’s veterans hiring initiative, disability hiring initiative, an initiative to bring senior citizens back into the workforce called Mature Worker, talent acquisition diversity recruiting strategy and other diversity-related hiring initiatives and projects. He has a graduate degree in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University in Missouri and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Manager and Operational Customer Experience Manager.
Michael McCoy is the Military Outreach Program Lead for Premise Health. Premise Health is the largest provider of direct health care to the Fortune 1000 and other large employers across the US. Michael has served 10 years in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He is currently an Armored Company Commander in the 278th ACR. Prior to joining Premise Health and leading the military programs there, he was part of the leadership team of a regional nonprofit supporting veterans and their families. There he led corporate outreach and engagement to help inform companies and veterans on what opportunities they had in the greater Nashville area. Now, because of his role at Premise Health he is able to extend his opportunities across the United States.
