Scott recently rejoined BGIS May 2021 after a two-year stint working within Washington state government as the Regional Director for Workforce Development at the Employment Security Department.

Scott is former Marine who served the infantry in Somalia, Bosnia, and Haiti back in the early to mid 90s. He has a passion for helping fellow veterans - from serving on boards and the development of training programs to mentoring through the Hire America's Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program and Veterati.

One of Scott's many proud accomplishments with BGIS was increasing the numbers of the military veterans/spouses in their workforce: In 2016 about 18% of the workforce was veterans/spouses and today over 30% in the critical environments is composed of veterans/spouses.

Michelle Buczkowski is the Vice President of Talent Management at 84 Lumber. Here she leads national recruiting efforts, company-wide training and talent development, and HR communications.

Prior to joining 84 Lumber, she led talent management for PNC Bank and later served as the Vice President and Sr. Strategy & Planning Manager for PNC Bank’s national expansion efforts. Michelle has also led talent initiatives at Allegheny Health Network and CONSOL Energy, where they modernized their workforce through the northeastern energy boom.

Michelle graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Communication & Rhetoric. She is a certified ICF coach and Human Capital Strategist from the Human Capital Institute. Michelle lives in Rennerdale, PA with her husband, Michael, and their two children Zane and Zoe.

Roy Lopez is currently the USAA Senior Military Talent Advisor. Prior to this exciting and critical function, he was a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner providing recruiting support for the USAA Information Security team. Before coming to USAA in 2017, Roy served in a variety of leadership roles ranging from a University Career Planning Director supporting students and alumni as they started or continued their professional journeys; to an Operational VP building and leading multiple high performing Talent Acquisition teams across Texas; and many more workforce management functions in between.

During his time in uniform, Roy served in both the US Air Force as a Security Specialist, and then the US Army as a Cavalry Scout in numerous locations around the world including a 12-month combat deployment to Iraq in 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership from Trident University International, and an MBA from Baylor University.

Curtis Lloyd enlisted as a machinist mate and completed Naval Nuclear Power School prior to being appointed to the United States Naval Academy. After commissioning, he completed BUD/s and SQT and served with SEAL Team 5, then Special Reconnaissance Team 1, both in Coronado, Calif., before separating.

Lloyd has been working on self-driving for almost five years, including overseeing the first passenger operations and paid rides in an autonomous vehicle in the US. He's also had the opportunity to work with syste

ms engineering and product design in requirements generation for User Interface Design.
