Need a Job? These 3 Industries Are Hiring

Uncle Sam’s monthly jobs report showed that 126,000 civilian jobs were added to the economy in March. While that’s actually down a bit from the last several months, the report reveals which industries are hiring.

Professional and Business Services: Employers here added 40,000 jobs in March after hiring 51,000 in February. March hires included 4,000 in architectural and engineering services, 4,000 in computer systems design and related services, and 4,000 in management and technical consulting services. Health Care: Consistently hot, this industry continued its unequaled hiring trend by adding 22,000 jobs in March. Over the past 12 months, health care has hired 363,000 people. March gains included 19,000 in ambulatory health care services and 8,000 in hospitals.

Retail Industry: Employers hired 26,000 folks in March, which was in line with the industry’s monthly average over the last year.
