Bio
Eddie Dunn is an award winning, national thought leader in the veteran transition space. Over the course of his civilian career, Eddie has achieved five “Top 10” Military Friendly® Employer finishes to include a #1 in the nation for a Fortune 500 company.
Eddie designed and led a coalition of 120 private-sector companies working to employ our nation’s veterans that has grown to over 300 members and hired more than 950,000 veterans and counting.
Eddie proudly served in the famed 82nd Airborne Division as a young paratrooper. He later joined the Army Reserves as a parachute rigger and jumpmaster. He was a chaplain’s assistant at Ground Zero during 9/11 and soon after deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was later promoted to Master Sergeant, where he held the position of First Sergeant before his retirement.
Eddie earned his bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College, NY. Some of his notable achievements are 2021 Veteran Champion of the Year by G.I. Jobs Magazine, Novartis CEO Diversity Leadership Award, DoD – ESGR “Seven Seals” Award, and two-time recipient of the ESGR “Patriot” Award.
