Haley Melanson

With six years of experience in recruitment, Haley has developed a deep understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation and relationship management. Currently leading recruitment efforts for the Military Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program in California, Haley specializes in identifying and securing highly qualified mental health professionals to serve active-duty service members and their families. Prior to joining Leidos, Haley gained valuable experience as a recruiter and account manager at a small healthcare staffing agency, successfully placing teacher assistants, teachers, social workers, and occupational therapists in the DMV area. Her background in real estate, where she served as a licensed Realtor in Virginia and Maryland, further honed her skills in matching individuals with ideal opportunities. Haley earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University. She is a dedicated wife and mother who is married to an active-duty Marine officer who is preparing for retirement.

Tommy Jones

Tommy Jones is a distinguished leader in talent acquisition and military programs with over 14 years of experience. As the Founder and CEO of Camo Canopy Consulting, Tommy specializes in enhancing military-related initiatives, from recruitment and retention strategies to fostering inclusive cultures and supporting veteran-owned businesses. Tommy’s career includes pivotal roles at Walmart and Verizon, where he developed and led military and diversity recruitment strategies that resulted in the employment of over 50,000 veterans and military spouses. A decorated U.S. Army veteran, Tommy served 20 years in the Signal Corps, deploying to Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and earning numerous awards, including three Bronze Stars. His post-military career has been marked by significant contributions to the military community, earning him recognition as one of the 2023 Veteran Champions of the Year in Corporate America. Tommy holds certifications from Villanova University in Advanced BI Data, Project Management, and Human Resources, along with the SHRM Foundation’s Veterans at Work Certificate.

Josh Kaylor

Josh joined the Army in 2006 as an infantryman and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2012, he was assigned to US Army Recruiting Command. Josh spent his last six years of military service as a Recruiter and Station Commander. He exited the military in 2017 and continued his civilian career in recruiting. Josh has worked for smaller organizations and large corporate enterprises. Currently he is the Head of Military and Veteran Programs at Eaton, where he is responsible for Military/ Veteran recruiting strategies and implementation of programs across the US. Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law and an MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Post University.
