What’s a typical day like for you?
I think the reason why I enjoy my job so much is because I don’t have “typical days.” No two days are ever alike when you are working for G4.
What appealed to you about the logistics industry?
I didn’t choose to have a career in logistics, it chose me. My skills and thought process pulled me into that direction and I haven’t looked back since. The main reason logistics is so appealing is that this field has been dominated by males. However, over the years the presence of women in leadership positions has been trending up. Logistics is a field that is looking for female leaders and can provide you with an opportunity to become a leader just not with a company, but within the industry as a whole.
What do you like most about your job?
I love working for the Army. I love the people that I work with – my coworkers (mentors), my boss and the soldiers we serve. I like that the job takes me out of my comfort zone just enough to stretch me and help me grow. Being a logistician for the Army isn’t just a job, it’s my passion.
